Severe drought is affecting the West. The low amount of water of Lake Mead is affecting Colorado. In Texas there is a drought caused by last year's long record breaking high temperatures that evaporated reservoirs, and there was 16 inches less rainfall than there usually is. The drought in Spicewood Texas water has been pumped out of there water well, to supply other areas with water; and now the limits water consumption per household there is 50 gallons per day; for water conservation. In California it is their driest year in recorded history, and now many of the water reservoirs are almost dried up and depleted. The California Central Valley can be turning into dessert. Texas is also having a drought. There is a drought in 9 counties in Nevada; because there was lacking rain and snowfall in the Sierra.

The climate scientists predicted that climate changes has increased higher temperatures worldwide; and it's going to make droughts increase in general worldwide. So, they should prepare for the droughts with water conservation and reservoir building projects.
